Director - Brian
Hoffman
Brian Hoffman's musical career began at
age 11, when he became a professional church organist in his home town
of Oneonta, NY. In the 30 plus years since he began his musical
journey, he has become an accomplished Church Organist, Choir Director,
Concert Organist, Composer, Recording Artist and Director of Children
& Adult Music
Programs. "It all began from
the time I was very young and got involved with music programs similar
to St. Paul's School of Music & Art.. The knowledge and
support I
gained from being involved in these types of programs led me to the
career I now have in music".Mr. Hoffman is Organist & Choirmaster at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Troy, NY., where he is also the Director of "St. Pauls School of Music & Art". As a concert artist, Mr. Hoffman has performed hundreds of concerts throughout the United States, and is currently in the midst of a concert tour where he is performing 24 recitals on the complete Preludes & Fugues of J.S. Bach. As a composer, he has written numerous works for choir, organ and various instrumental ensembles. As a recording artist, he has recorded the organ works of Cesar Franck, and is currently recording the complete Preludes & Fugues of J.S. Bach. Brian lives in the Helderberg Mountains with his wife Amy.
