| Founded in 2008, The
Music School at St. Paul's is in its second year of offering high
quality musical education to children in the Capital District.
The program is free of charge to all students and is open to all
children between the ages of 7 and 11 who are interested in undertaking
a serious study of music. The school is enrolled in the highly acclaimed organization "The Royal School of Church Music in America", which supports music programs with exceptional materials and training programs. The main training program scheduled for the 2009 - 2010 school year is "Voice for Life", an RSCM in America sponsored program which includes 3 different acheivement levels and awards for accomplishments in the many aspects of musical training. The main curriculum of the school focuses on Music Theory & Appreciation, Voice Training, Ensemble Training and Classical Repertoire. Private piano, organ and voice instruction is available as well. The Music School at St. Paul's has been blessed with many enthusiastic volunteers, from both the church and the community, to serve as music assistants to Mr. Hoffman, prepare the Thursday dinners, and assist with general administrative duties.
